How to change the language on Facebook
This tutorial will help you change the language on Facebook if you've never tried to do with success:
- Open Facebook in your browser: http://www.facebook.com.
- At the bottom left of the page, click the language you are using, for example: EspaƱol (U.S.).
- Then, a window to select the language you want.
- Then you will realize that the language of Facebook has changed and can be connected ...
- You can also update your language by visiting the "Account" => Click on the tab "Language" => Select your language from the dropdown menu.
Facebook has added support for translation into 22 languages, among which are Spanish, Galician, Euskera and Catalan.
Interesting statistics about Facebook:
- Facebook is available in 43 languages and is in the process of being translated into 60 other languages.
- 40 percent of Facebook users are not using English.
- 25,000 volunteers helped translate Facebook into Turkish last year, and now there are 9 million users in Turkey.
Although only 43 languages are available now on Facebook, if you add the Facebook Translations application (which really recommend that you do), you can find 60 other languages - many of whom are ready for use.
As Facebook is based on the translation of users, a group of Pirates fans have created a language called English (Pirate). The new language will change some of the words such as Home to Port, the Friends of Mates, etc. It's a fun way to use Facebook.
