How to make a great presentation
As human beings we communicate our thoughts and share them with others. Sometimes it must be public statement. And probably each of us had to do at least one public presentation in his life. For some it was easier and more difficult for some. Especially those who have had problems with doing something good to think that it is difficult to learn or a kind of gift that was born with. But being a good speaker is a type of skills you can learn and practice. Only a few tips will help you!
Know what you are talking about.
This is very important to have extensive knowledge on the subject you are suppose to speak. Read books and search information on the Internet. Be prepared to brief notes on most important issues and their free time reading or four. Note well prepared is the key to knowledge organized. It 'obvious that he can not remember all the facts you want to talk about (nor is it recommended to learn by heart). But when you have good notes will be a kind of network which shows the connection of an element with another. If you have trouble remembering something you can always take a quick look and back on track.
Prepare some unusual facts.
From my practice at the University I learned that there's nothing less interesting than boring lesson. I was an audience of several lectures and presentations, but only a few of them left in my mind. I probably remember only the one who has done more to open my eyes, I asked for the world and I wanted to learn something more about it. Usually the most interesting were facts that can be easily read in books, but those that are not widely known. So, make your listeners ask on the subject. Surprise and left with a little 'of insecurity.
Be confident.
I'm sure this could be the most difficult of all. But do not worry: if you are well prepared and have something interesting to say we'll be fine. Remember that nobody is really sure at 100% while speaking in public. And even if you made a mistake to think that happens to us all. Even professional speakers, managers and businessmen who ended courses called 'management training UK' or 'be the best leader' have doubts at times whether they are correct or have something interesting to say. Keep this in mind and that will help you keep your cool. And what can you do to be safer?
Take a look pleasant.
Wear clothes that look and feel good it makes us more comfortable and, of course, confident. Especially it is very important when it comes to women. When we are confident that our hair looks good, make up is not expressive, the shoes are clean and the clothes are elegant, intelligent, classy and fits we are able to pay all attention on the topic of the presentation, not 'Am I asking to look good? I do not listen or watch the stain on my skirt? '.
Smile and be fun.
If you can, and it is not very formal meeting to try to interest the public with a joke. If the presentation is the first in a series of lectures your listeners might be a little 'sleepy. A few interesting facts and fun will be fully awake and leave a good impression after surgery. And while listening to the first of many lessons the public might be a bit 'tired and unwilling to listen to what you tell them. Opening joke you gain their attention and make it nicer. If you are unsure about the level of practical jokes you've prepared your speech with a friend - it will show a different reaction.
He attended a course.
If the theory is not enough for you sign up for a practical course. This training presentation skills could have a great impact on you. It provides participants with the skills necessary to produce an effective and, above all, to develop the trust that makes the presentation much easier and therefore more effective. When you combine this course with a kind of communication training that will help you use your body language and control the effects of gestures could be really amazing!
Good luck! ......
