Car Games

Whether it's bumper to bumper traffic, or a trip to grandma's house - long car rides can do a number on any group of people, particularly families. The following is a list of some car games to play with considering all the banda!

The ABC game is frequented by a younger audience, as it requires only knowledge of the alphabet. To play, each person in the car to try to complete the entire alphabet by identifying the letters they see on license plates and placards. When a letter is found, is called out, and then eliminated. The first person to complete the alphabet wins.

A fun game that I particularly like is called "Word Justify". A person in the car is the leader, and the others are players. Each person thinks of a word. Players announce their words, and then the leader announces his word to the end. The players then each turn, justifying why their speech is related to the word of the leader. The winner is chosen, and the winner becomes the new leader.

When you drive for an extended period of time at home or in other rural areas, can be fun to play games that involve animals seen along the road. Assign points to each type of animal. For example, the cows are worth two points, one worth cats, livestock worth four or five, and so on. The first person in the car that reaches 20 is the winner.

Variations of twenty questions can always be fun, and take up a lot of time. Someone in the car chooses to be a person, place or thing. All other car that the person may request up to 20 'yes or no' questions on it in hopes of reducing their hypothesis enough to the point where they can understand it! Guess Who exactly is the person next to cook.

Music games can be fun, and even test your knowledge in the trivia machine. Someone hums a part of a TV show theme or rating to a movie, and everyone else takes turns guessing what song it is. Whoever guesses correctly is next! For older players or enthusiastic, trying to see who can recite all the lyrics of a song, instead of guessing the title.

The Cow is another classic game, and can be easily modified according to what is more fun. Ideally, the car is divided into parts, and each side has as many cows as possible their end. Each time you pass a cemetery, the side of the machine is losing all points and must start over. Who has the most points by winning the final! ......
