Email Copy Made Easy - How can I get more emails Delivered?
As a copywriter autoresponder e-mail, this is probably the biggest question I get ....
A friend of mine once said that the person who figures out how to get 100% 100% deliverability of time will be a millionaire. Actually, I think it will be more like a millionaire while. Because with anti-spam filters have to be like, a lot of legitimate e-mails - that people have chosen to receive-are brought home before they even see the light of day. And you are making a serious tooth our profits.
I'm going to give you 3 things you can do now that will help to increase delivery rates.
1.) Give your prospects detailed instructions on how to whitelist your email address. I almost saw anyone do this, and is extremely easy to put together a simple HTML site that includes instructions from AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo and the major email providers. It's basically a draft copy and paste and you only need do this once. So make sure your prospects have a link to a page like this.
2.) Press your RSS feed more. This is a fantastic alternative to e-mail, RSS feeds, basically because they bypass the entire route e-mail. You can send important information through a tube straight into the internet bypassing any spam filter and go right to the desktop of your prospect. There are no rebounds, no problem on your e-mail to be rejected because of a suspect word, and not the angry customers calling you and asking: "Why not have sent me anything?"
This is a great idea. However, there is a problem: about 95% of Internet users have no idea how to set to receive an RSS feed. So there is a learning curve involved. Over the years, the learning curve get smaller, and people will start adopting this more easily. But right now, are not.
3.) Set up a membership site with password access. This is a great idea that I rarely see implemented, but it works very well to pass along the content. You can do so much with a membership site. How to add a forum. Include gifts. How have Qand and interviews. And much more. Give them a reason to return. This is a great way to stay in touch with your prospects and customers without relying on the fickleness of the email....
